
The Music Instructor

I help students (ages 10-onwards ) learn how to play clarinet, flute, and saxophone and be able to perform a solo or/and with the group through intensive training while having fun with the lesson.
Nena Lopez Chavez

The owner of Atempo! Music Studio,
has 22 years of experience as a music teacher, performing artist, and winds instrument clinician. She graduated from the University of the Philippines with a
Bachelor of Music degree, majoring in clarinet.

She has been a member of the UP Youth Symphonic Band since 1991 and had been part of the woodwind quintet. She performed in various concert halls in the Philippines,
like the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Philam Life Theater, and Abelardo Hall, Music Auditorium in the University of the Philippines.

As the music moderator of the special music program of De La Salle Santiago Zobel School in the Philippines, she handled and trained the school’s Symphonic Band and Symphony Orchestra. She was one of the conductors who prepared the students in performing in local and international music festivals in Asia and U.S.A.
